The next installment of my nail art foil collection from Dollar Nail Art is the blue and teal foils. I bought these foils using my own money. This post will consist of product photos, close up images of each foil and a brief description.
If you do not know what nail art foil is or how to use it please follow this link here to my Introduction to Nail Foils post for more information.
Sapphire:
Sapphire is a royal blue foil with a mirror like reflecting metallic finish. There is no pattern to this foil only solid colour.
Blue Mist:
Blue Mist is a little lighter than Sapphire and a little more on the grey blue side. It is a mirror like reflecting metallic foil with no pattern only solid colour. As Sapphire and Blue Mist are so similar, there is no need to purchase both. I would recommend Sapphire over Blue Mist though because it is a nicer blue.
Electric Blue:
As the name suggests, Electric Blue is just that, a solid electric blue foil which has a mirror line metallic finish to it. Like Sapphire and Blue Mist, this foil has no pattern and it just solid colour.
Teal:
Teal is like its name suggests also, a blue green foil with mirror like metallic finish. This is more on the blue side than a green like some other teal colours you can get. If you want to see this foil in action, please check out Miss80Million's tutorial on Youtube here.
Aqua AB:
Aqua AB is another foil similar to Gold Spectrum as it reflects a rainbow flash depending on how the light hits it. This rainbow reflection give a holographic effect to the foil. When applied to the nail it creates rainbow flashes across the nail.
Pacific Blue:
Pacific Blue is an electric medium blue foil that reflects blue, light blue, teal and green depending on where the light hits it. This rainbow reflections creates a holographic effect on the nail.
Peacock Dazzle:
Peacock Dazzle is more of blue based teal colour with a water ripple like pattern covering the entire length of the foil. The ripple pattern of this foil sends out flashes of teal, light and dark blue and purple depending on where the light hits it creating a holographic look on the nail. To see a photo of this foil on the nail, please follow the link here
Gradient Crush:
Gradient Crush is a electric blue foil that fades into a nice emerald green as you go across the width of the foil. The pattern on this foils is similar to Diamond Red or Gold Crush in the tile effect. The tiles reflect blue, green, teal and slightly purple depending on which way the light hits it giving this foil a holographic effect.
Starburst Blue:
Like its name suggests, Starburst Blue is a royal blue foil with a starburst pattern covering the entire length of the foil. This pattern can also be seen in Gold Starburst foil. The starbursts then reflect teal, light and dark blue and green depending on which way the light hits it creating a holographic effect.
Ocean Mist:
I saved the best and most interesting nail foil till last! Ocean Mist is a mirror like reflecting foil which changed from orange, gold, red, green teal and blue depending on which way the light touches it. It also has an almost leopard print look to the patterning which in turn changes different colours to the background depending on how the light touches it. This is definitely the more unique foil of the lot.
