Tutorial: Style Black - Blue Flame Look

EDIT: I am no longer making posts in this domain. Please follow me over to www.walkinmyeyeshadow.com to keep following my makeup journey

This is a look that was a long time coming. I know that the Style Black collection came out at MAC a long time ago but I wanted to do this tutorial anyway. This is also a recreation of a Look of the Day that I did, (click here to see that look), although I did change it around a little bit.

When I heard that this collection was coming out at MAC, I was shitting bricks. I love doing really sultry dark looks, they are my favorite to do. I'm thinking about doing some more looks like this so when I do they will be posted on here.

EYES:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- Blackground paint pot (you could also use the Grease Paint Stick that came out with the collection)
- Blue Flame mineralize eye shadow (from the Style Black Collection)
- Blue Storm eye shadow (from the Blue Storm Collection '07 - you could also use Deep Truth eye shadow its pretty much the same thing)
- Carbon eye shadow
- All That Glitters eye shadow
- Vanilla eye shadow'
- Vellum eye shadow
- Stately Black eye shadow (from the Hello Kitty Collection '09 - you could use Contrast eye shadow if you don't have this in your collection)
- Smolder eyeliner
- Prestige liquid liner in Black
- Chi Chi dark blue glitter liner (you don't have to use this brand, any dark blue glitter liner will work perfectly)
- Ardell "Naomi" lashes

CHEEKS:
- Inglot #37 (pale pink with silver shimmer) blush

LIPS:
- Inglot #34 (light peachy nude) lipstick
- Sportsgirl "Gossip Girl" lipgloss

As I said in the video, there are two styles of the Ardell "Naomi" lashes. Below is the ones that I used in this look:

And the following is the other style that is available under the same name:

They are both really nice lashes, but I think with this look the thicker style is the one which I think works best with this look. Another set of lashes you could use with this look are the Ardell "101 Demi" lashes that I have used in another tutorial, they look like this:

Hopefully you guys enjoyed this and will send me any feedback you have. Enjoy!
