Nail of the Day - April 20th, 2010

EDIT: I am no longer making posts in this domain. Please follow me over to www.walkinmyeyeshadow.com to keep following my makeup journey

So I received my order from OC Nail Art today and immediately started searching for the Konad plate that I have been wanting to use for a while. I've been looking at a lot of different nail art blogs as I said in my update post and there was one done by Fab Ur Nails. She is an amazing artist and is really creative.

This is the nail that I did tonight:

To complete this nail I used the following:
- Nfu.Oh Base Coat
- China Glaze Cowardly Lyin' - "A soft yellowy gold frost with tiny gold microglitter" (as described by Scrangie. You can see a swatch for this polish here)
- Konad Special Polish in Black
- Konad Special Polish in Red
- Konad Special Polish in Green
- Konad Special Top Coat
- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
- Konad Image Plate M66
- Konad Image Plate S9

Here is the photo and a link to the original post by Fab Ur Nails:

As you can see from her photo, she also used a plate that has Asian characters on it (I'm not sure what they say or what race they are so please don't anyone get offended). If you would like to get the same characters, there is a plate avaliable from Chez-Delaney which looks like this:

Hope you enjoyed this post. I'll probably be doing some Konad nail tutorials on here in the future so keep coming back for more! Cheers!
