EDIT: I am no longer making posts in this domain. Please follow me over to www.walkinmyeyeshadow.com to keep following my makeup journey
This is the first tutorial for the new channel. It is a look that I often do when I want to wear a neutral look with a bit of glamour. This look uses one of the more unusual brown MAC eye shadows, Patina. It is one of my favorites because I love the gold sheen that it gives off when worn on the lid, in the pan is it not much to me.
It also uses some discontinued eye shadows which is not such a good thing. Lucky Tom eye shadow, a medium brown similar to Espresso eye shadow but with Gold glitter, is from the "Lucky Tom" quad that came out with the Hello Kitty Collection (February 2009). This is an optional eye shadow as it won't really change the look too much, its just added to add a bit of gold glitter to the look.
Another one is Smoking, a really pretty dark almost black brown eye shadow with gold glitter which came out in the "Smoking" quad which came out with the Smoke Signals Collection (August 2007). If you don't have this eye shadow you could also use a super dark brown like Smut.
EYES:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- Patina eye shadow
- Espresso eye shadow
- Lucky Tom eye shadow (from "Lucky Tom" quad from the Hello Kitty - Feb 2009)
- Smoking eye shadow (from "Smoking" quad from the Smoke Signals - Aug 2007)
- Vanilla eye shadow
- Rose Blanc eye shadow
- Loreal liquid liner in "Carbon Black"
- Ebony eyeliner
CHEEKS:
- Inglot #34 (peach with gold shimmer) blush
LIPS:
- Inglot #23 (light coral) lipstick
- Mimi lipglass
You could dress this look up even more by applying a gold glitter liner to the lash line, I often do this if I am going out at night wearing this look.
I welcome you guys to send me your recreations of this look.
